Creating my First Package in Umbraco 9 (Hangfire Dashboard)

So I created me first package in Umbraco 9. The good news is it seems pretty much the same as it was for Umbraco 8. At least it was exactly the same for the first package I decided to go with.

I create an package to allow adding the Hangfire Dashboard to the Umbraco backend within the 'Settings' section.

Prerequisites - Install Hangfire on Umbraco 9

Important - This article is a follow up article for 'Umbraco 9 Configuring Hangfire Scheduled Tasks

This plugin only works if you have Hangfire correctly installed and configured with Umbraco 9. You will know if you have installed and configured Hangfire correctly if the following url works '~/hangfire'. If this is working take a step back and follow the articles linked above.

How to install Umbraco 9 Hangfire Dashboard

To keep this simple I have zipped up the package and uploaded here.

If you download this and extract it to your App_Plugins folder then everything should work nicely.
